Tessa arrived in Cayman in 1990 from the UK to work as a nanny. Originally this was a 10-month plan. However, the universe had different plans and after working for 2 different families, a short stint at a local Attorneys’ office and getting married, Tessa ended up with one of Caymans leading Real Estate firms where she spent 7 years learning all about the Real Estate industry in Cayman. Downtime was spent volunteering in Caymans Big Brother Big sister program.
During those early years in the sector, Tessa built the long-term rental and property management section of the firm from the ground up, initially representing a handful of properties to almost 100 contracts within a year, and concurrently gained the expertise, contacts and knowledge that enabled her to open THPM in 2004.
During this time Tessa continued to co parent 2 amazing children, remarried and became a professional photographer with work featuring on the front page on an Irish National newspaper magazine, as well as having her work displayed around the world.
However, now the children are raised and the photography on hiatus, her main focus is the success of her THPM team. With almost 30 years in the Cayman Real Estate market, she is well suited and well experienced to assist you in your property needs.
Tessa considers herself a bit of a gypsy and loves to travel, her most recent discovery being Honduras where she adopted a spider monkey that had been captured and sponsored her care until her release back into the wild during the Pandemic.
