Who are THPM and how can they help me?

THPM Real Estate was established by Tessa Hydes Kerr in 2004 after working for a franchise in the larger Real Estate sector on Grand Cayman for over 5 years. During this time, she built a very small rental and property management department into one of Caymans largest, and her name quickly became synonymous with experience, empathy and excellent client satisfaction. However, during that time frustration was increasing due to the constraints of the franchise leading to the inability to provide the level of service to Landlords and Tenants that Real Estate companies generally reserved for the more lucrative buying and selling.

So, on July 1, 2004, with a small home office and a handful of properties Tessa Hydes Property Management opened its doors for business dealing initially in Tenant Placement and the Property Management of select rental properties.

However, 21 years later and from these humble beginnings, as well as rebranding as THPM Real Estate in 2019, the company now boasts a prime office location, and a staff team that specialises in Sales as well as Long Term Rentals, Property Management and support.

THPM has not only been able to ‘hold its own’ during tough economic and down-market times, a life changing hurricane and a pandemic, but it continues to grow and adapt to an ever-changing market. We are known and recognised for our personalised boutique style rather than a corporate approach to the business as well as for our strong knowledgeable and experienced team.

We have a great relationship with many of the major employers on the island, providing them with relocation services, making us one of the first stops for new recruits onto the island in their search for the perfect accommodation. This is a great benefit for our landlords and investment buyers as our inventory of properties enjoy great occupancy rates. Our team incorporates a variety of skills which enable us to also provide a full property management service for owners that are not on the island or who prefer some distance in their business dealings with tenants.
